About me

 | INFP | Artist | Gamer | Writer |

Hello, my name is Cyn. This is my public mental health and personal blog.

This is my journey through anxiety. I find it interesting how we are all up for mental health advocation, but do we really air out our dirty laundry?

I find comfort in talking about my mind patterns, as well as the goal to practice self-compassion.

Rewiring our minds to think positively and lessen those pesky catastrophic thoughts is not easy.

But I am here to vouch for the comforting thought, that it is possible. For I have, experienced intervals of pleasant memories, as well as the bad ones. I learned that each time, I was “okay”. And, essentially, the tools are with me to conquer those over thinking patterns.

I strive for peace, and it is within me. It is the art, once again, of self-compassion.

Fun Facts:

  • I love Lord of the Rings, aesthetics like cottage, faeries, and dragons. ( Skyrim <3 ) I also adore galaxy, celestial and space themes. Also: I like to dabble in my love for the Witcher, and Interview with a Vampire fandom. When it comes to vampires, Lestat is definitely the only I love. As you can tell, I like fantasy with a dark thrilling twist.
  • I love goth & cottage core fashionable items. I like to think my style, is goth cosmic geek. I wear my anime/gaming/cutesy art merch, but also with spooky aesthetics. I love Victorian goth styles, such as dresses like Wednesday Adams. I own a lot of skater dresses too. I am starting to wear more lighter colors, that represent my admiration for the late 1800's time period: Anne with an E! (a series on Netflix).
  • I tend to enjoy strawberry flavors, raspberry and mint. Although dark chocolate is simply divine.
  • I love the color purple, and peacock blue. Peacock blue is like a cross between a gorgeous blue, and emerald, green color.

Blogging Platforms:
I often interchange between my Tumblr account, and my Blogger. This here's blogger is straight the point with my entries in text form. While my Tumblr, also has text entries paired with items of interests. I feel like Tumblr is a great place to exchange blogs with fellow writers, while also getting a peek or taste of interests or inspirations. While blogger, is simply one of those lovely digital journals on the shelf for anyone to pick up at their own leisure, so anything I write is intended to be discovered.
I also use Day One app. It's a journal app, that you can write different journals which also features a publishing ability. Which I intend to use, once I finish the year or two. I have stories written there, dreams, as well as daily life with personal reflections. Another diary app I use, is Diaro. It's an app where I can just write raw thoughts, I mostly use it on my mobile device since Day One only allows you to use one device at a time. Day One is more for my productive and constructive use, and Diaro is my anything goes diary. I use Novlr, for my memoir I am writing in my mental health journey from past time, and into present. As you can tell, I love writing.
